Greetings STP folks. This post will be short and primarily to make sure that it goes out to all of you who subscribe by email. As the title suggests, I have reworked the design of the website as well as added new content.
Briefly, let me explain why I did a redesign. Honestly, I was thinking about waiting until the new year to launch a redesign simply because the new year is a good time to do such things and I should graduate with my M.Div. this December, so it would have been a whole new “me” to go along with it. Anyway, I did the redesign because I wanted the site to be more visually appealing. I also wanted there to be a better explanation as to what this site was for. Finally, I want to “expand” the writers for the site to pull in some other pastor/church leader friends of mine to write posts, which I hope to begin doing in the near future.
There you have it.
So, here’s your STP “homework” for the week:
- Check out the New Design
- Check out New Content (mainly the “About” page and the “intro” section on the home page.)
- Comment on this post what you like and dislike
- Send an email invite to 1 friend who you think would like to read this blog. If they subscribe, I’ll give you the greatest gift of all – A post shout out! I can feel the excitement coming through the keyboard even as I type this!
Here’s the great thing about the grading of this homework: I’m only going to know if you did #’s 1-2 is if you comment on the post. If you loathe the new design, tell me. If you like it tell me. If you’re ambivalent, tell me. If all you really want is a 10-piece nugget and a large fry, then you do you. The point is: I want to hear from you! With school hopefully easing up this fall as a I inch closer to graduation, I’m hopeful that I will feel more motivated to write more regular posts, book reviews, and gardening updates. So, let me know below.
Until next time – Grace and Peace to you in Jesus
Nick

Ok, I like the new design. Just understand this: I do not know anything about web design. Can barely work my phone without turning into a heathen . . . Much to my children’s embarrassment
